Ms. Analia Arrieta (instructor)

Analia Arrieta graduated from Kean University with a bachelor’s degree in History with secondary teacher certification and a minor in American Sign Language. She currently teaches 7th grade World History and oversees the Sign Language Club. Additionally, she enjoys reading, spending time with her friends and family, and teaching herself new hobbies.
Mr. William Corman (instructor)

William Corman spent his time in college striving to become a history teacher and succeeded in 2020 when he graduated from Kean University with a bachelor’s degree in History Education K-12. Will currently works as a full-time teacher at Immaculata High School and enjoys being a swimming coach. Additionally, Will likes to travel and enjoys running for exercise when school is not in session.
Ms. Kayla Doyle (instructor)

Kayla Doyle became fascinated with history because of her 10th grade American history teacher, who taught her how to appreciate it and challenge herself. Kayla Doyle earned a bachelor’s degree in History at Kean University and secondary teacher certification in Social Studies. She is attending a master’s degree program in museum studies at CUNY School of Professional Studies. Kayla currently works as the collection manager at Liberty Hall Museum and is an assistant curator for the Monmouth County Parks System. When Kayla is not working, she enjoys reading, watching the New York Yankees try and fail to win a World Series, and spending time with her two cats and two dogs.
Ms. Megan Engels (instructor)

Mr. Christopher Thoms-Bauer (founder/director/instructor)

Christopher Thoms-Bauer loved the ancient world enough to seek a degree in Classics at Rutgers University. He previously earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Kean University and is certified to teach secondary social studies. In September, Chris will begin pursuing a master’s degree in Classics at the University of British Columbia, and afterward, a doctoral degree, spending his life both learning and teaching. He is currently employed as an academic specialist for the Department of History at Kean University. In his spare time, Chris either reads widely or laments over the New Jersey Devils.
